I just installed PressReader on Windows 10 (on a new Microsoft Surface Pro 6) and the app crashes on startup. The window appears, circle animation rotates for a few seconds, then the whole application closes without warning.

Hello Scott,

Thank you for forwarding the details. Would you be able to send a 'feedback' from the app, and include the 'log' for the developer to be able to review this in more details? Thanks for your time.

Regards,

I've encountered the same problem on a Surface Pro 3 running the same build of Windows (but Pro)

Your request above for a 'feedback' from the app totally misses the point since it crashes during app start sequence - before you can do anything inside the app.

Hi Peter

We're sorry to hear this. We are working on a new version which should be released in a couple of weeks. If the problem with the current version is continuing, may we suggest reading online on the Surface at www.PressReader.com until the new release resolve the problem?

Thank you!
