Program is crashing on iPad - Where's a "Tech Support" link to address specific issues?

 

Where is a technical support link to address specific technical issues - one that states, "Technical Support"?  Users should be able to submit tickets and solutions should available for public review.  If you have this feature, please inform (I also navigated to some link called, "Requests" and submitted, well, a request).  Thanks.

Device: iPad mini

System: iOS 9.3.5

Publication: NY Times Replica edition

The program crashes at startup. I've deleted - uninstalled - the program and reinstalled. All went well for 2 days and then the problem returned. I lost the 7 back issues that were saved on top of this. This is a recurring issue.

You can post your question at the care site, as you have, and make your Q and A's public.

However, in your case, we require more details from you, in order to investigate. Could you send us the 'log' file after the crash happens, so that our developers can take a look at technical details to determine the problem and assist you further.

Hi Kevin,

Sorry to hear this, we would require the "crash report" to review this further. To enable crash reporting:

  • In app settings triple tap on version footer below all sections.
  • You’ll see new Test/Debug section show up after all sections listed in settings view. Select this section.
  • In the list of the various options the last one should be “Use Crash Reporter”,  enable it.

how does he turn n the crash report if the app won’t stay open long enough to get into the settings menu?

Hello Michael,

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the app.

Please reboot the device and if the app start without crashing, attempt to obtain the crash report.

Also we are in process of releasing a new version 5.3 that should fix the initial problem.
