I have exact same problem. Have had card & login details checked with Library and it is not a problem there.
Please be advised that the library is currently going through upgrading their system. This matter should be resolved, once this task is completed.

An update from Hertfordshire libraries: "The upgrade work has been completed, and we’re just doing some final UAT and confidence checks. We’re currently just waiting for final confirmation from Civica when we can reconnect LCF and our third party apps."
