I also have this problem (Southend On Sea Libraries). It was working, but then the app was updated and since then despite signing out, and re-installing the app, I cannot read publications.
The access IS working via a browser.
I have noticed that the browser version retains the library membership, but the app does not.

I am having the same problem, sign in to my account and use the social Library part to read and it doesnt work. asks me to sign out of my Pressreader account and sign in separately to the library card but if i do that i cant see any of my stuff. it just shows owner is the library.
