I have exactly the same problem with East Renfrewshire library. I'm using a tablet on home Wi-Fi., not a hotspot. Surely this is no coincidence.
Hi. I also get this issue, quite regularly. On average, at least once per month. Usually near the start of the month.
Haven't been able to use it for the last 3 days, for example.
This suggests to me that it's a subscription issue, or a database isn't being updated with the subscription renewal. It's definitely not to do with hotspot being disabled, as I checked this today, and generally don't make any changes to settings
I access through Aberdeenshire library account and also cannot read any of the newspapers/magazines. I only get offered to upgrade to a subscription.

Unable again to sign in using South Ayrshire Council library. Happens often and I uninstall then reinstall app which usually works but not today. Message on app just says "library not available at the moment".

PressReader library monthly authentication is a bag of spanners.
It fails every month, and I have 40 years in IT so no need to check for user error.
PressReader support needs to raise its game as many people suffer the same issues.
It’s the end of month and yet again my Edinburgh library authentication login works but it presents the choose how to pay messages.

New month and yet again I am logged in with no access….happens every month….for about a year….I contact PressReader and they set a. Flag or something at their end and access is restored. Shambles service.
